  1. Click on the New Mentor button in your dashboard

  1. Input Mentor Information

    1. Name

      • Enter the Mentor's Name: Fill in the name of the mentor you want to create.
      • Purpose: This will be the primary identifier for mentees looking to connect.

    2. Description

      • Write a Brief Bio: Provide a short description of the mentors background, skills, and what they can offer to mentees.
      • Focus: Include key experiences and the type of mentorship they provide (e.g., career advice, skill development).

    3. Category

      • Select a Category: Choose the appropriate category for the mentor based on their expertise (e.g., Astronomy, Art, Anthropology).
      • Importance: This helps mentees find mentors relevant to their interests.

    4. Mentor Visibility

      • Choose Visibility Settings: Decide whether the mentor will be visible to all students, select groups, or kept private.
      • Consideration: Think about how accessible you want the mentor to be for potential mentees.

    5. Image

      • Upload a Profile Picture: If applicable, upload a professional image of the mentor.
      • Tip: A picture can enhance engagement and make the profile more relatable.
